Most beauty and by work professionals are never taught how trauma shows up during a service.
Yet every day, we work with people who are navigating anxiety, grief, stress, sensory overwhelm, identity-based harm, or past experiences that shaped how their body responds to touch, closeness, and being seen.
Clients may seem:
withdrawn or quiet
tense or jumpy
overly specific or controlling
irritated or overwhelmed
These reactions are often misunderstood as attitude, personality, or “difficult clients.”
They’re usually not.
They’re nervous system responses.
This course exists to help you recognize those moments and respond in ways that support safety, dignity, and professionalism without turning your work into therapy.

WHY LEARN FROM ME
This course is rooted in lived experience, professional practice, and formal trauma-informed training.
I’ve spent years working directly with people in intimate, vulnerable settings, where conversations, bodies, and nervous systems meet. I understand firsthand how much care beauty and bodywork professionals already provide, often without training, language, or support.
I created this course because our industry is expected to “brush it under a rug” when clients are overwhelmed, emotional, or reactive, without ever being taught how.
This training centers trauma-informed principles while honoring the realities of service work. It is designed to be accessible, respectful, and grounded in real practice — not abstract theory.
